Reminds me of when I was in Alaska. In the winter, the sun appeared above the horizon so briefly that everyone thought it was a yellow light and stopped.
The short days are the thing I hate most about winter. I can handle cold, I can handle snow, I can handle freezing rain, but I hate, hate HATE the short days. It’s dark when I go to work in the morning (leave the house at 7:40AM) and it’s dark when I get off work in the evening (leave work at 5:00PM). I only get to see my yard in daylight on weekends.

I did not know Garfield lived above the Arctic Circle. Also, maybe they should turn on some lights!

Winter is much better than Summer. Things always seem to go wrong for me when it’s summer. It’s never the other seasons.
