We are back to hijacking! My question is how could a man with excessive facial hair not arouse suspicion? I think you should be rechecking his security clearance.
Sigh, this Brush has got to be the stupidest, most moronic character Mike and Joe have ever created! What is that supposed to be, his eyebrows? I got paroled for this?Aye yi yi!
Brush is not exactly inconspicuous in his present hirsute condition. Maybe he’ll shave his face for the heist. Rather, I should say, attempted heist. I think this armored truck hijacking has zero chance of ultimate success; there are just too many ruthless and powerful people involved, besides Tracy and the Spirit, who would be pleased to give Brush the ultimate brush-off….
Excuse me, I should have said; “this Brush has got to be the stupidest, most moronic character Mike and Joe have ever Resurrected! I make no apologies for not being a comics NERD! Some people need to get a life! HaHaHa!
Wait a minute — isn’t $1.25 million what each bidder, individually, is bringing? If so, that would bring the total to $6.25M. Or am I missing something here?
I’m still wondering how someone like Brush managed to get ANY job at all… how do you verify identification etc? The man has a face full O’Hair!! (not Hank!)
Wouldn’t it be a kick if Brush saw Attitude and his facial hair stood up on end from the sight of him! lol :)
Several of you fine detectives have mentioned a “bidder’s fee” of $250,000. Was that ever mentioned in the actual strip, or is that just something you happen to know about? I’ve never been anywhere near an auction, so I’m in the dark about such things. But, if you’re right, and the contemplated crime is to scam folks into paying the fee, and then scoot with the collected money without releasing any so-called “immortality formula”, I would have thought there would be something specific in the dialog to tell us that there is such a fee. Otherwise, the story doesn’t quite make sense.
Even if Perenelle is legitimately auctioning the formula, and it’s not a scam – although Brush indicated that he thought it was a scam – there has still been no dialog explaining where the anticipated $1.25 million is coming from. I feel like a piece of the puzzle is missing here.
Yet another actor died today, John Hurt, Oscar-nominated for The Elephant Man and Midnight Express. He also did several voices for animated movies, notably the Horned King in The Black Cauldron and Aragorn in the animated Lord of the Rings and Hazel in Watership Down. More recently, he was in Hellboy: Blood and Iron (2007). Full voice credits: http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/John-Hurt/
Many younger people probably know him better as wandmaker Ollivander in the first two Harry Potter movies.
So, the actors/actresses who’ve died the past few days have either portrayed the common folk or protectors/defenders of such, ranging from private counsel to private detectives to “Don’t Call Me Doctor” doctors to Superman.
In John Hurt’s case, he’d played common man (“Winston Smith”) protector/defender (“The War Doctor”) and a higher-up in an oppressive dystopian state in ‘V For Vendetta.’

Good morning guys!
How will Brush get away with this unless he can disguise his 5 o’clock shadow?

Assuming this version of Brush isn’t wearing a toupee, could easily see all that hair getting caught in some machinery at some point.
Ouch~!!

Sadly, another death to report today, Mike Connors, at 91, perhaps best known as the title character of the TV series, ‘MANNIX.’
