I have a bottle of lens cleaner too, but I never had the mistake of spraying onto myself yet.

Don’t spray the phone. Spray the cloth you’re using to clean it. Keep the cleaner out of the power and audio ports.

Now we know Earl washed his face today :-)

Human factors failure. Cleaner for optical things should come out the end of the nozzle, not the side (think aerosol cheese or canned whipped cream). It’s not natural to have to look for the tiny pinhole that indicates the open side of a sprayer when the contents are specifically for someone who’s having trouble seeing.

He just wanted to clean his glasses this time

By licking it the screen gets clean and Earl gets a small snack too, a win-win

Very simple, folks. Put down the seat before you flush.

At least he’ll have clean glasses to see the screen!
