Does anyone have a theory about what’s going on with the service elevator and the 30th floor? I’m a little confused by it, actually. I the first frame, it seems that the Tek guys are waiting for an elevator (on the 30th floor?). It sounds like they don’t the money yet, but I’m not sure about that. In the last frame, Brush and Kitchen are waiting for them to return to take the service elevator. Are they also on the 30th floor?
On the other hand, maybe the guys in the first frame are inside the elevator and they already have the money. I suppose that would make more sense. Excuse me for “thinking out loud.” I appreciate an explanation for whoever knows how these things work. (Tackling them on the 28th floor would just be asking for trouble, so I suppose it makes sense that they’re not there.)
I like the new blue flags on the comments better than the red ones. Also, I’m very appreciative that they fixed the “Reply” function so your reply to a reply is addressed to the right person. Most of the older replies to replies from earlier days are now correct, also. (I can only assume the ones that are not may be user error.)
That being said, it still has a small bug. When you click on the Whoever link it goes to the page of the person who wrote the reply. For example, if I click on "AnyFace" at the beginning of a reply that I wrote, the “@AnyFace” link goes to my page instead of his. That’s a minor problem, though. I’m happy that they are still fixing things.
Its a darn good thing that Brush isn’t too conspicuous, I mean heck.. he looks just like any OTHER person in a crowd, they’ll NEVER be able to remember any details about him after the holdup..especially since theyre wearing their work overalls…GOD that’s the mark of a pure genius!
I see two TEK security agents on the elevator as it arrives at the 30th floor (for whatever reason the 30th and not the 28th; who’s holding the money?), in panels 1 and 2. They get out, go to the pick-up point (room, salon, hotel office, whatever), and collect the stash. Meanwhile (panel 3), our two thugs emplant themselves (ahem!) by the elevator to await and tranquilize (or gas) the TEK team and grab their loot. I am assuming that TEK has nothing to do with the TekWars stories supposedly by William Shatner (in large measure ghosted by Ron Goulart), in which “tek” was a kind of drug; nor with the Hungarian state counter-terrorism service (although, with Perenelle’s background, you never know). Whoever they are, I like that the TEKkies are wearing their shades, indoors and after regular working hours (shouldn’t that mean after nightfall?)….

Those look like tranquilizer pistols. Shoot darts. Now if they changed the formula…

It would be funny if the couriers decided to snatch the loot themselves! The one on the right looks familiar. Tom Selleck?
