I wonder about so called Christians wanting to go to heaven. They must think that it is ALL WHITE! LOL! I’m with Rat.

But, if “Heaven” is paradise after death, as we have been indoctrinated to believe, wouldn’t Rat have an eternity of drinking and swearing and carousing to look forward to? Sure seems to me that “Heaven” is being able to spend eternity doing what YOU like to do the most! An eternity of peaceful contemplation and everyone being SO polite to everyone would be more like Hell to most people! How BORING would that be after a millennium or two? Watch the last 5 minutes of “This is the End” for a really good vision of Heaven!

That’s more true that Rat realizes. As for me, I choose to follow our Father and live with him for eternity and gain all that he has (as promised). He mean, who wouldn’t want the ability to create and grow.

If we don’t believe in any god, they have no power over us and Heaven, Hell, Hades, Valhalla, etc. are empty threats or rewards. All we have is our present life to make the best of.

As an agnostic,I always feel a certain amount of envy for those with strong spiritual beliefs.I don’t understand the ridicule, and hate being directed towards such individuals by those who believe that a life of debauchery, and self-seeking is the only way to go.By the way,I’ve experienced more than my share of debauchery, and self-seeking,and came to realize it always leads to a dead end,a dead soul.Live and let live.An open mind and an open heart… A humanist

This is too real. Legalistic preaching and a focus on going to church and not doing bad things rightly turns nonbelievers away. It’s hardly good news!

As far as I’m concerned, Religious people should not push their beliefs onto others.

We are who we are. Religion doesn’t define us.

Drinking is not a Sin…being a drunkard is, Church is wherever two or more gather in His Name, the only swearing is taking His name in vain and there is a time for everything under the sun, laughing, dancing, crying…even carousing.

Just because you’re a sinner doesn’t mean you can’t go to Heaven. You just have to believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins
