This is so true! I don’t watch cat videos but spend way too much time on the computer. I’m retired so have a lot of free hours that I could be doing something productive.

I try to avoid cat videos by focusing instead on “cute” wildlife videos: it’s “the same thing, but different,” and that justifies me to myself….

Two words: shift work. I worked second and third shift in call centers for years. Too often, when I had free time, everyone else was asleep or at work.

Although I did spend time drawing, doing origami and taking walks in the park. Still, no social life made life very depressing.

Now I work in an operations center where I work Monday – Friday, regular business hours. Bliss.

I like to watch videos, but NOT cat videos. I also like reading books and comic strips, like this one!
