The black smoke, the heat rays, the tripod machines and even the red weed-some of which survived. Then when the Great War happened oh boy was it worse than in our world. It started sooner, lasted longer, and was as world spanning as World War 2. Average death toll at 102 million. Including any ancillary deaths from disease, starvation, privation. 1912 â 1919 when it ended in a horrible orgy of destruction and mass death in five places on the Earth.

After nearly five decades the Martians try again. This time they are prepared for the alien micro-organisms. However some of the Martians do not want to invade and instead want to settle in certain places closer to their planetâs temperature which is Antarctica. Some of them come to Earth and through the secret Illuminati group they make clandestine contact with certain members of human society in order to tell them of the imminent invasion and their want to settle Antarctica an stop the invasion.
