    We’ve had rain almost every day in April. I can tell it’s spring, though, because the weeds are popping up in the yard. Yay, Spring!

    We in Houston have had heavy rains recently. Highs are now in the 80’s and it is still cooler by nearly 20 degrees for a little while longer.

    Comic strip writer/artists love to pick on old cliche sayings like this. And to be honest, many of them have bothered be for quite some time. But then I realized that many of them come from someplace and some-time that is not where I am and that probably had different weather conditions, and that they most certainly have a heavy dose of observation bias.
