It doesn’t matter. Mice typically only live 2-3 years at the most, so to a mouse, two really WOULD be quite old!

Two years old? Wouldn’t that make her your great-great-great-great-grandmonther?

On my 50th birthday, I was picking up my daughter from school. She had told her friends that it was my birthday. One of her friends (with whom I’m always joking) asked me, “So, what are you…100?” I smiled and said, “No…but I’m 1/2-way there!” Her eye got really wide and she said, “FIFTY??? You’re KIDDING!!!” She couldn’t fathom that her friend’s mother was about the same age as her grandmother!

Let’s not forget Mr. Jingles in The Green Mile, who was about 65 by the end of the film. That mouse should have won an Oscar.

Does that mean the other mouses Garfield befriended during all those years are already dead?

In 2 months my cat will turn 22.
