I wouldn’t mind such useless space wasters like golfing greens to be inundated permanently.

I used to work on a golf course. I had more fun driving the sand trap tractor and got paid to do it.

We’re gonna build a wall to keep the ocean out. And we’re gonna get the ocean to pay for it.

Unfortunately, the only way to keep the seas from rising is to have water moving inland faster than gravity is returning it to the seas. We got ahead for a bit with the ice age, but then it clamped the Aquarian pipeline and now we just have to wait for the world to warm up again. It is a perfect climate cycle system, just not for us.

I find it ironic that the state most threatened by sea level rises, Florida (the entire state except for a towering peak of 312 feet is only feet above sea level), forbids the words, “global warming” or “climate change” in any of its official documentation.

Mar a lago will go under early. Trump will claim to be a flood damage victim and ask for billions from the government. Then he’ll turn around and build another one in Louisiana – if that’s still there – but this one will have double the flood insurance.

Sea levels have been 20 feet higher then now. They have also been 350-400 feet lower. The Behring land bridge went under 8000 years ago after 12000 years of melting glaciers.Long before SUV’s and fossil fuel use. With a human population a tiny fraction of what it is today.

Maybe NASA was right when they said it was the sun.

First named storm to hit the Gulf States. Weather Forecaster here in Texas very surprised at how early in the season this is. IMPO the extreme heat from Texas to Southern Cali shows more about global climate change

Fortunately for us, the REAL settled science does not back up the liberal agenda, no matter how many times they make the claim. http://thefederalistpapers.org/us/simple-chart-destroys-liberal-climate-change-scam

Gore said the sea level for the East Coast would be 10 feet higher by now. I go out to the Florida Beach on a regular basis. Nothing Burger. Things are just like they have been for decades and probably centuries.

The difference between a muffin and a cupcake is that one is bread, and the other is cake. A cupcake is cake. A muffin is bread. I’m afraid that just pushed the argument to another level.

Florida’s problem is ground water extraction causing the land to sink. At 2-3mm per year sea level rise, normal for several hundred years, it will take many decades for even Florida’s lowest golf courses to be underwater. Florida, explicitly Miami’s problem is well known from the early 20th century when storm surges or even the highest tides would flood certain areas.
