Wal*Mart brand razor, Wal*Mart blade refills, shave once or twice a week, works for me. I have thought about checking out Harrys.com though. A friend of mine uses a straight razor, he also uses a lot of lather when shaving, what he saves in razors he spends in lather.
I’m 64. I use the double-edge razor I got in high school, a pewter mug that was some kind of bicentennial promotion, with scraps of hand soap. I got my second brush two years ago. About 1987 I got a bunch of 5-packs of Wilkinson Sword blades on sale for fifty cents each. I use two blades a year, thanks to my winter beard and not shaving on my days off. I probably have about 15 years of blades left.

Lately I’ve been buying promotional Dorco razors and using bar soap scraps. It’s costing me less than a dollar a month.
