Interesting how the Man uses a non-electric can-opener which doesn’t provide the traditional whirring sound that attracts cats. So the boys are now onto this low-tech option?

It makes no difference whether electric or manual, the sound of the blade breaking through the can lid is enough to get any self-respecting cat’s attention.

My Figaro would magically appear at my side the instant the can was punctured. He used to make the cutest face of disgust when I’d show him the can and it wasn’t cat food. My current two have no interest in people food, I actually miss sharing

To heck with cans . . . I open the fridge and Taz comes running. She thinks she’s supposed to get cheese whenever I open the fridge.

Neither Scooter nor Moose are interested in people food except for tuna juice. Puddin’ on the other hand, is ever hopeful whenever Brad goes into the kitchen. That little nose is in the air sniffing away. Dead Buckwheat LOVED his watermelon and cantaloupe juice. He would eat small pieces of the watermelon if I left some in the bowl.

I just love Lupin’s expression in the first panel, and Puck’s as he’s eating pineapple. Elvis is so … Elvis in the last panel. This was/is one of my favorites.

My sister has a cat that will eat chips and French fries.

Little Dusty gets 2 shrimp a day. Tried to offer him roast chicken: SNUB! No other people food will do. Give the tidbits to cat niece Allie. She’s an appreciative little girl! Georgia, you light up our day! Love to all your bi, tri, & quadripeds!

Honest! This just happened here! Chicken not pineapple and no can but Flash just got caught doing this exact thing! Our house and BCN are in alignment and it’s wonderful.
