Somehow, she’ll have to take him to the D.A> for an en X-ray, etc. I’m sure he won’t charge her.; maybe he hire her as an assistant in place of the incompetent he has now.
So far, I’m pleased with this story – at least, since the introduction of Jack Elam, er, Elam Jackson. I dropped out of Gasoline Alley around the time that Slim and Clovia got stuck with that horrible dog – and dumped the cat on – I forget whom. Between that and Slim being pretty just a butt of fat jokes (last week’s Sunday panel was no exception), I felt compelled to drop out for a while. But this one-eyed guy has my attention – and affection – so I guess I’ll be around for at least a little while more.

Hmm …
Maybe these two aren’t such a poor match.

I hope Elam is back soon… and perhaps even Joel along with the P.A. Rufus could disappear for my tastes. :)

She could take Scruffy to the ER. By law, it has to treat anyone.
