I assume this is sarcasm. Most people know what windows and natural phenomena are.

Why not moms? (Yeah, I’ll be the annoying one who says that.)

So, the kid actually will admit to interesting finds to another kid, but spend two days putting down the trip and older people to another adult/kid. Devious.

Only a SLIGHT exaggeration…

I love the look of dismay on the 2nd kid’s face in the 1st panel. “WHAT!!? NO HANDHELDS!! The horror! The horror!”

Honestly, if you’re on the interstate you’re not seeing much. Sometimes it’s nice going through the mountains, until you think about what they did to the mountains to put in the interstate…

On the flip side, if you’re reading or looking at a device and you’re not on the interstate, lunch may be reappearing shortly!

Now-a-days, a lot of SUVs and trucks come with backup cameras so people don’t even use their windows anymore!

My dad has a backup camera, sensors, and windows. He still managed to back into my car in the driveway. Go figure.

On my family’s road trips in the ’70s, we kids used to check out the scenery, play road trip games, and sing along to songs on the radio. When we got bored, we slept.

Horizons change as we walk out of each self-imposed prison. The less we cling to our perceptual walls, the wider our eyes open. Good going, girl.
