I love our Prez’s foreign policy. He announces endangering 30,000 new service men/women and in the very next sentence says he’s pulling them out. Must confuse our enemies (allies). Wouldn’t you love to play chess with this genius? Backbone, announcing when you’re running away.
President Obama is merely President George W. in a different body. Same wars, same bailouts of Wall Street, same mandatory provisions in health care (Bush with Part D Medicare and Obama with his “Health Care” law).
Like, for instance, when he dropped the public option from health care? Obama has been trying to work with Republicans since he came in office and gotten nothing but a big fat NO to everything.
Columbus was a great mariner. He supposedly kept two logs: the “real” one for his own record, and one that underestimated the length of the trip for the sake of the crew.
And the fake one turned out to be more correct than the real one.
Is it Columbus’ fault that there was something in the way? Awful big something at that.
His real problem is the fact that he was convinced he made it to the Indies to the day he died (or was it one of the four points of paradise).
Of course, we can blame him for beginning the process of the extermination of the natives, but we should not bring up politics here…
