Speaking of elaborating on classic metaphors, I’ve been using this one to refer to a current political figure who will remain unnamed… “He’s like a bull who brings his own china shop where ever he goes.” Yeah, Winston Churchill said it first. If you’re gonna steal, steal from the best.

He needs to lay off the Russian brewskis.

Great simile! Rat is far more literary and flowery than Cartoon-Boy the Forgetful.

Is there a paradox in this?

“Brain Harbor” is a good name for a beer, Foamy, yet serene.

Mickey Mouse has Walt Disney’s Fantasia, and Rat has Stephan’s Aphasia.

I hate to agree with Rat, but he’s got a point: it’s his similes you don’t like, rather than his metaphors.

After googling Russian River Brewery, I see it’s a real company, as mentioned by a couple of people above. PBS is doing product placement now?

Its not a metaphor if you use “as” or “like”. Its a simile.

Last year, I was in an artist’s blockade and wasn’t able to draw my Ned Dickens books for about 9 months, while I still had ideas in my mind. Good thing I’m out of that blockade!
