I had an aunt that did polling for a major service exactly like the one depicted in this cartoon. She said that although they did not disclose to the pollsters who the poll was for and would proclaim it to be unbiased it only took reading the questions once to determine who was paying for the poll and the results they wanted. She said there was no way the desired results could happen any other way because of the way the questions would be worded.
Since you asked, on a scale of one to ten, ten being the absolute worst, The Orange Porker would rate 100. The only fake news out there comes from Fox, Breitbart and the mouth of Trump. You’re welcome. Meanwhile, the investigation proceeds …. tick tock tick tock.
Typical news media today……but the polls aren’t biased. Trump has done more for this Country in nine months than the preceding idiot did in 8 years. Of course, the previous idiot was trying to destroy the Country, and damn near did. I just hope it’s not too late.
There are legitimate polls, but what you are talking about is called a “push poll”. It is just a form of propaganda designed to influence you to hate the person being discussed. Many people will actually listen to a “poll” and pay attention, when they would hang up if they heard the same comments and were not expected to answer.
Do you HAVE to resort to politics as a source of humor? And weak humor at that? (Regardless of opinions, the humor is weak.) ONE MORE and I’m firing you as my cartoonist and urging others to quit buying your strip here or anywhere. If enough “customers” stop buying, you’ll have to close the store. I applaud the other commenters here who feel the same way I do. Great comics don’t need politics as a crutch for humor. Wise up!
I don’t get all you folks so blinded by your political agendas (regardless of what “side” you’re on) that you react to a piece of what is presented and ignore the context.
I don’t think this cartoon is knocking Trump at all. I see it as taking a sharp jab at pollsters, and just using the currently familiar example of those who are riding the knock-Trump bandwagon to make its point.

The very fact that you are asking a (any) question on a poll makes them biased. Impossible to make a poll that is not.

And what may I ask are you? A special kind of IDIOT, not doubt!!!!!!!!!
locake about 7 years ago
The pollster will need a lot more paper to write down how awful he is doing.
