I think Elvis is knight errant of Baby Girl. This is Boy. Beloved, but hardly a damsel in distress. Elvis has yet to fall ears over tail for a baby. Yet, the seeds of affection for Boy are being sown thickly as well. After all, we’re talkin’ ‘bout Georgia’s lads!
You guys I am just scratching my head over the GC front page lately. I guess the folk at GC decided the system was broken since the same four comics were always on the front page and BCN was 99 percent of the time “most liked.” Now BCN is as popular as ever (or more so) but it’s always random new stuff on the front page. I wonder what was done to the algorithm. I guess it’s good that overlooked comics are being discovered, but I liked how visible BCN was before. Anyway, just ranting. :)
Slightly OT, but not much: Georgia, the special report on shelter cats is one of the most special comics I’ve ever seen. I go back and re-read it and I still cry every time. Thanks for saying what my heart thinks.
I’ve come to incorporate the Breaking Cat News notions of catness so thoroughly into my worldview that when I see a reference to a cat in another medium, I think of BCN. In recent issues of Batman there’s been a lot of humorous interplay between Batman and Catwoman. I keep thinking of Lupin and Tabitha. PS… I think that DC is about to do with Bats what they did with Supes. Bruce finally purr-posed to Selina in issue number24.

As usual, the baby thinks it’s hilarious even when everyone else is panicking :)

But isn’t it sweet that little Pucky is there with a pillow, even if he’s too tenderhearted toactually look at Boy’s little mishap?

I love Puck’s expression in the last panel. Babies weebling! Oh, the horror!

Elvis’ tail twitch in the first pane. Puck’s grimace in the last pane. So good!

Channel your inner Howard Cosell voice and repeat after me “Down goes baby! Down goes baby! Down goes baby!”

This is why I like this strip. Ms Dunn takes a common occurrence and finds the gentle humor and enjoyment for us.

Baby boy is a wobble toy! And he loves it! He can roll with the punches.

maybe puck would feel better if he could teach the baby to always land on his feet

am I the only one seeing Pucky actually pulling the pillow away in the last panel as opposed to “helping”??
