If you go to the link I provided, you’ll see a menu above the comic book that list all of the issues in the series. You might be able to find IronJaw’s origin (if it exists) in one of those issues.
I had thought of that just a bit ago after coming back to finish up yesterday’s talk after reading the Superman anniversary issue. Thanx for that !
While Vista Bill is exploring the lint under his deep cover I will report today’s happenings which are, This bozo is full of a lot of sawdust if he thinks he’s gonna off our best cop.
Fredville was the first to comment: The late Abner Kadaver. Neil Wick responds, noting that Flattop is not labeled as late. Let’s start a rumor: Flattop is coming back!
I like the artwork of the cars, reminds me a bit of the TV show Gotham, which seems to be set in a nebulous time period repleat with 70s sedans, cops uniforms from the 40s, tvs from the 80s, a Detective Special toting Harvey Bullock, and cell phones.
For some reason, “prosthetics” doesn’t sound like a word that would come from someone with T-Bolt’s (fictitious) background. (I hope I’m not offending anyone!)
Just having fun with the earlier comment (Flattop coming back). But, four days in a row, it does look like the Nitrates are now on the back burner and we have changed gears for another Bribery crime (since Sawtooth is now Bribery’s henchman).
T-Bolt (Lee Ebony, undercover) thinks Abner Kadaver is dead. (She may or may not be correct.)
Sawtooth is proud of his dental prosthetics and laughs easily (maybe too easily for a West Coast Hitman with, apparently, a big reputation, such as would attract Bribery’s attention in seeking someone of rid him of the Chief of Detectives of the Tracyville PD and Head of the MCU).
Big, dark-colored sedans are still fashionable among the criminal set in Tracyville.
Well, well. Sawtooth may not realize it, but he is quoting the most famous Tracy hit man of all, Flattop, who told Tracy to his face on December 27, 1943 “I never miss, Detective. Never.” We all know how that prediction turned out.
“Sure, I rip the inside of my mouth apart on a regular basis, especially when I try to chew. Sure, ladies say “no thanks” when I make personal offers. Sure, I literally rip toothbrush heads apart, so I have to buy hundreds a year, but I still say it’s worth it!"

I’ll bet at one point Sawtooth is shot at and its in the mouth where the bullet ricochets off it.

Even his hair has a sawtoothed outline, particularly noticeable in the middle panel today.
I wonder, but at the same time don’t want to know, what this “method” of his is that never misses.

What a smooooth question. Why even ask him? She’s going to check anyway. “No, my dental records ARE NOT on file, why you ask, Copper?”
