And that’s the good news

Working mostly in latex, he was underappreciated in his time, by at least $0.70/hour, he reckoned.

He painted himself into a corner.

I’m sure there’s some sort of creative person inside each of us, but in the meantime, the bills still have to be paid. Take the job and work at the easel on your days off.

Sounds more like perspiration than inspiration.

That’s why I don’t have one of those lady. :POK, it’s also why so many artists are having careers with pensions first. :-/

I give him props. At least he got to the point that he HAS a studio. I can be sympathetic. I’ve failed as a writer at least a dozen times. And yes, sometimes I made others miserable. Sorry. We all seem to have lived, and I may go for it again.

He’d get a discount on his art supplies.

Do not ever — ever — and I mean ever — work for The Home Depot. I used to be anti-union — until I worked there. If there has ever been a company where the employees need to be unionized — it’s The Home Depot. Lowes probably isn’t any better, but I couldn’t say.

I’ve collected brushes, paper, paints, easel, instructional books, etc. The trick is finding a “real muse”. Should I try eBay?

He is not amused.
