I know of one infamous person who has stair-anoia, and likes to have a partner hold his tiny hand in order to ease his fears …
At my age, ‘stair anoia’ is a real irritation but from anticipating aching legs and knees, not fear of heights.
OTOH, if you always think someone’s watching you, you’ve probably got stare-annoya.
