Even Slim is getting rare and hes a throw of sunday joke. always corkeys dinner or a fat joke… at least we have classic strips when they cared about this history and charictures

I like how the ol’ cart is reminiscent of Pogo’s skiff – down to a quaint saying scrawled on the board.
Also, only GA could get away with the old trope of the kid (Rufus here) vowing to ‘run off and join the circus’.
