The other problem is that the proper cream pie can’t be held in that orientation for very long, thus Llewellyn is using fruit filled pies with a top crust, which aren’t very good for hitting someone in the face with.
One humorous item in my Christmas bears upon a much older Ozzy and Millie… Alas, Dana, I no longer have means to send you a snapshot. If you are interested, I am still Drac at SPR muck (if you recall how to enter… your character is still there.)
For nearly three months, readers of these reruns or re-postings of these Ozy and Millie strips, myself included, have been greatly kept in suspense. (The strips, last posted this past October 23, have dated back to 2006.) I understand that, in the past, reruns of this particular strip have stopped after several weeks’ run, and then have resumed, with past strips backdated to where they have left off, but, for some apparent reason or other, this has not been the case as of this writing and post. Had the re-postings of the 2006 strips occurred today, readers would have been treated to as many as 62 strips in reruns dating as far back as October 24 of last year. How much longer will it be before readers of this particular comic strip get to see the ongoing storyline thereof resumed, so that they (and I) may eventually get to know what all the fuss was about, particularly in regard to a dragon seen in the last strip run on GoComics and his “pie six-shooter”? An answer on your part to this post would be most greatly appreciated.
If you really want to know what happens next, check out the Ozy and Millie archive. https://ozyandmillie.org/comic-archive/calendar-archive/?archive_year=2006
Occasionally when the strip finally refreshed, Dana apologized for not watching the site closely enough.
Hey, at least this strip participates in the Bottom O’ The Page BONUS Strip, so you do get a new random strip without having to dig through the official archive.
Do the artists have to update this themselves? Why can’t web developers at GoComics just write a script that auto-updates comics like this that have ended but are repeating like TV shows in syndication?
I’m not a programmer, but that sort of thing doesn’t sound like it’d be impossible.

As the wisdom of the clowns goes, “There’s no problem that can’t be solved by a good pie to the face.”

Was Llewellyn the one who thought up Bugsy Malone?

Stuck on the twenty-third when it’s the twenty-fourth. Ah, well. Hope it doesn’t last as long as before.

If you don’t want to run this in repeats anymore, couldn’t you just say so?

Why DOES GoComics have so many dead or stagnant strips? Where’s the money in that?
