If you can be happy for no reason, I don’t see why you can’t be sad for no reason.

Circular logic is completely airtight. The problem is that it’s so airtight that nothing useful can get out of it.

Nobody has called me the most beautiful thing they ever saw in hours! What a cruel world.

Intrusive bout of melancholy. Been there, Marigold, it’ll pass.

I’m in the middle of that sort of mood myself the past few weeks. :(

Sometimes it helps just to have someone with whom to share the sad . . .

I’m feeling a bit sad today myself, but I DO know why…GoComics has some annoying popup every time I go to the A-Z listings, begging me to join their weekly newsletter, and I can’t get rid of it. :( I back up after viewing a comic strip, and it pops up again…Every. Single. Time.

I know that feeling. If I were there, I’d see if she needed a hug. Sometimes some affection is the best thing.

Is this a reflection of the cartoonist’s mood?

Maybe Marigold heard that Winter is Coming and she is thinking about all of the fresh artisanal hay that she will not be able to enjoy.

I have been coming back all day and looking at this comic.

That last panel has been growing on me all day.

    I love it.

I wonder if this storyline was originally written as a form of mental health awareness.
