It would be nice to have someone besides the same tired ol’ boys in Congress propose something. That bunch are stuck deep in a rut whence they likely will not return from. How about the AMA? They at least know what they are discussing.

I know that I am being petty, but I have a bottle of champagne at the ready for the next big downfall of Trump and the Republican Party. It’s like watching the bully getting his nose rubbed in the dirt.

It’s not that I think Obamacare is the best thing in the world. Had the Republicans tried to repair it rather than repeal it, they might have actually looked respectable.

My celebration – which may also include noise makers and dancing in the street – is that something with Obama’s name on it lives on. In spite of all their attempts. the Republicans cannot remove the black man in the White House from history.

Obama can’t be erased simply because they are actually talking about health care, something they managed to avoid doing every since FDR tried to include it as part of the new deal. This can’t be this difficult because every other civilized nation on the planet has managed to do it. When my Mom and I visited Sweden, she had to go to the emergency room. When I asked for the bill, there was none. England, same thing. Canada has done it, even Cuba. If we have elected people who can’t do better than any of these countries, I don’t think the trouble is that the problem is that hard. I think the problem is that we have elected a bunch of morons.

The irony is, is that the more the Rethuglicans try to destroy Obama’s accomplishments, the better he looks. Not quite the result they were hoping for, I would guess. One day, we’ll look back with disbelief on what was going on in our government today.

Why would the GOP want that? Kimmel would want to expand who gets healthcare. Where are the tax cuts to the 1% in that?

Kimmel would do something for people. That is against Republican policy, no health care for you, tax breaks for rich people only, is all they care about.

Ah, yet another Trump Disciple with yet another incisive comment. As if the Republican plan was not drawn up by the local drunks.

Republicans DO NOT HAVE a plan. They never did. They don’t want one and they won’t allow one.

Republican politicians can’t come up with an idea; might as well try comedians.

And yet IDAHOSER every single one of those congressmen have a beautiful comprehensive Health insurance that covers everything and anything. Senator McCain said in an interview that one of the things that he thought about while he was undergoing treatment was how health insurance for the average man was nothing like his health insurance and that the average man would not have access to the wonderful medical care that he was getting. Personally I think that that was when he had his first Epiphany about the health care plan that Congress was trying to shove it down our throats.

Why bother the middleman. Go straight to Schumer. You are aware, I hope, that Kimmel got his talking points directly from Schumer.

They wouldn’t dare, too many Americans would like a bill like that.

" After a weekend when Americans took to social media to debate President Trump’s admonishment of N.F.L. players who do not stand for the national anthem, a network of Twitter accounts suspected of links to Russia seized on both sides of the issue with hashtags such as #boycottnfl, #standforouranthem and #takeaknee."
