I have a new language pet peeve. ‘The murderer needs to turn himself in. The ….needs to…..! Outrageous. Perfectly avoiding responsibility enshrined in language. No, he-she-it doesn’t need, I need the sob to stop.

Rather than “less plastic,” a better message would have been “stop dumping plastic in the oceans altogether.”

Plastic is an ubiquitous evil. I have tried my best to stop making purchases without buying anything in plastic.
Its imposible. The crap is everywhere and in everything.
Even if you start buying your laundry detergent powered in a box, it still comes with a little plastic scoop in it.
