Recipe for roasted pumpkin seeds:

-Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).

-Toss seeds in a bowl with the melted butter and salt. Spread the seeds in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for about 45 minutes or until golden brown; stir occasionally.

-HURL them down the garbage disposal because those things still taste like fried compost.

Love that, instead of the usual crawl, we see a newspaper headline announcing the unfortunate outcome of Lupin’s decision to let his thirst for power and his adventuresome spirit get the better of him! Gakball updates up next :):)

Interesting. I thought cats liked pumpkin? My vet recommended canned pumpkin for my ailing kitty, and she seemed to like it just fine.

We had a boy-cat who gobbled pumpkin guts as fast as he could!

Lupin is simply trying to save humans from the invasion of pumpkin flavored food and beverage products. Too bad he, and his siblings, can’t do something about the many flavored vodkas. BLECH!!

Ah, but pumpkin is terrific for your pets. It helps to prevent blockages and, as an aide in moving those existing blockages down the pipes, so to speak. Plain pumpkin, not the sugary pie filling.

Garfield made the same mistake when he thought pumpkin innards were lasagna.

Pumpkin seeds are like coffee beans in that they must be roasted before consumption.

Pumpkin is great for a dog’s tummy, especially if they are having issues with going … um pooping.

But to gain the power requires sacrifice…Like eating something yucky.

When we had long-haired cats that sometimes got hairballs, we were assured by at least two veterinarians that cats love pumpkin and will happily eat it mixed with their food.

Nope. They hated it and refused anything it was mixed into. Sigh.

Once again, I laughed out loud. Georgia is a comic genius. She is also a superb artist. We are very fortunate to have this wonderful strip.

Funny thing, I spend about an hour or more with BCN, and about ten minutes with all the other comics I read. Tells you something about the artist and her fans.

I wonder what the boys would think of punkin chunkin?
