ooooh… tough break

Perhaps a haiku.

Those are quick and quite easy.

What do you all think?

When, upon reflection,

You think of your rejection.

The logical correction

Is using misdirection.

Are you allowed to end it with ’BURMASHAVE"?

I usually start with a word that has to do with the theme I’m thinking of then come up with a list of words that rhyme with that word. All you have to do after that is string them together.

I used to write poetry when I was in high school. I ran across my notebook recently, and it was awful. Ah, the musings of a teenage girl.

“Did you ever kiss your honey while your nose was kinda runny? You may think it’s funny, but’s it’s not”. My 8th grade Algebra teacher taught me that one.

Just jot down some Zeppelin lyrics.

The limerick packs laughs anatomical

Into space that is quite economical.

But the good ones I’ve seen

So seldom are clean

And the clean ones so seldom are comical

Just write a bunch of words in random order. The more offbeat the better! Teacher will think it’s great!

A poem is tomorrow’s assignment,

my problem is one of alignment.

To rhyme is quite hard,

I’m certainly no bard,

but I’ll try for a passing attainment…
