When my Mother was a Kindergarten teacher, each Christmas season she would have the kids bring in empty tubes, cut them in half, wrap them in Christmas paper side by side, like binoculars to make “Santa Watchers” with a length of ribbon so the kids could wear them around their necks while searching for Santa! Cost a couple of cents to make, and the little kids LOVED them!

The tubes have got so thin that the satisfaction of a good bonk is all but gone.
