When I bought real trees I’d look for a scraggly one, because that left plenty of room to hang ornaments. The artificial one these days are lush, beautiful trees, but so full you have to do some creative branch-bending to get space to hang anything.
Back when our oldest was a teenager she was helping with the tree by steadying it for us. Broke out in a rash (never had before). That was the last Christmas with a real tree. We went artificial after that.
