As well he should.

I am just glad that Jimbo didn’t fake a heart attack like Doug on the King Of Queens.

Since she came to Jimbo’s home and he wasn’t expecting her, she should have Hi Jimbo! I’m so and so. He could have then said, oh yes, we’ve met before. I’ll tell Rose you’e here. Awkwardness and memory test avoided.

I sympathise with Jimbo. I hang up coats every Sunday at church, and it’s impossible to remember 100 names that you meet once a week; but “Good morning” works fine.

Just go and say “there’s someone at the door for you!”

Taking a different tack, she looks like my late aunt of the same name….

For those with face-blindness (a real condition for millions of people) it can be a real problem!

I feel for Jimbo, I am terrible with dredging up names too.

When I did coats at school dances, I had trouble remembering whom I was supposed to bring the coat back to.

I think it’s only common courtesy that she should introduce herself, instead of getting snotty about it.
