    @Masterskrain: In a balloon, you are moving at the speed of the wind, so there is no downwind. So just pick a target on the ground to aim for — and allow for wind age. ;^)

    Jules Tavernier, an American artist born and educated in France, was more likely to be up in the balloon basket than down on the ground painting it. Here’s a good article on him.
