When I was in the military, one morning, I went to the shower and turned on the water. I always wait till it is the right temperature before I step in. Good thing. STEAM came out the shower head!! I skipped that day.
When I was a teenager, I’d bring my transistor radio into the bathroom so I could listen to music while in the shower. Normally I’d also sing along. One time, after a particularly musical shower, I stepped out of the bathroom (which was located at the top of the stairs) to see my father standing at the bottom of the stairs…applauding. I didn’t realize that I was singing THAT loud!
I don’t sing in the shower anymore. I couldn’t take the complaints. In fact my singing is so bad that when I’m driving in my car alone singing with the radio the other drivers beg me to stop. ;-)
There is no “cold water shutoff” except the main line. Shutting off the water heater output line would be effective, or the same result can be obtained with a bucket of cold water.

Turn on the washing machine like my wife does. The result lasts much longer.

That cold water shut off valve will shut off ALL the water. There will also be a hot water shut off that only shuts the hot water.

If Rodger is really a hunka burning love then he should be able to warm the cold water.

Most warm Roger has been in that shower as Andy keeps house cold.

Something tells me that Andy has done this before.

The cold water shut off valve will shut off all the water, but until the tank on the water heater runs dry there will be hot (and only hot) water.
STACEY MARSHALL Premium Member about 7 years ago
The ‘hot water shutoff’ valve would be just as effective and a lot safer.
