Ad Populum. Go with what you’ve herd.

Its because so many opinions are disguised as facts.

Laziness. Looking up for facts is too much work.

Actually there are studies that show even if you show a person facts that go against their beliefs their beliefs will be strengthened. Adam ruins everything did a great segment on this.

My mind is made up. Don’t confuse me with facts.

I wonder how much emotion plays into all of this.

The stock market is more opinion than fact.

Which is why innocent people are treated as criminals and can’t even leave their homes for fear from death threats because of false accusations.

Too many people ignore the facts because they don’t want to admit they’re wrong.

This would be why religion continues to flourish despite the fact that all gods are lies perpetuated to control the minds of the gullible (of which there are far too many).

I don’t get why those people are allowed to vote.
