Make sure the Mailman had all his shots too. My Dad was a milkman for 20 yrs. He got bit by a dog and 2 days later the dog died.

If you have a vicious dog, keep him inside an walk him when needed. Allowing him to roam free is a good way to get sued or have your animal destroyed.
