My question is: how is it that local news programs present items of local news items that actually occur in other states. Isn’t there anything else worth reporting in out own?
Our local stations have extended stories. “Tune in at 6 and we’ll tell you more of this story.” Then they have some national story that I’m going to see again at 5:30. Why not just give the whole story at 5 and let the national network tell me the national news?
