I’ve just noticed…Mysta is BBQ’ing outside in the snow (no surprise) so we really haven’t moved far past the main gate.

Why is Posie wielding that pistol? And I’m wondering what will happen when Sawtooth shows up…..

If Sawtooth agrees to carry out Bribery’s latest order, re: kidnapping Mysta. He is soon going to realize that he bit off WAY more than he can chew! He will be facing 3 opponents to that order, the Moon Governor, Posie and Mysta. I’m sure that the Moon Governor’s powers are FAR greater than Mysta or Honeymoon’s. BTW, I’m also wondering if the Moon Governor’s Space Coupe. Has a built in booby trap. Like the one that sent Drs. Sail & Grote speeding into the nether regions of the Universe?

Are we missing a strip here? Yesterday the Moon governor was saying he was positive he could get past the guards, and today he is reassuring Posie that the guards will be fine as he gestures backwards. PRESUMPTION: He either shocked the, or used some form of telepathy to knock them out.

Murphy, wherever you are with those burger buns, fall back. It’s about to get weird out there!

Hat notwithstanding, Moon Governor has a bit of a “Flash Gordon” thing goin’ on. ✨

Well, that was certainly a surprise and a delight.

The Moon Governor has a surprised/shocked look on his face in the last panel. All sorts of emotions must be running through his mind right now as he finally comes face-to-face with his long-lost “daughter.”

“Dad?” [Which one?] And if Posie is the dad, even if it’s for your own protection, why would you confront your daughter with a gun pointed at her?

I believe that Posie’s gun is meant for the Moon Governor as much as for Mysta…

How about this one – instead of only one of them being referred to as father, Mysta is directing a collective “Father” toward both of them since she is made of both of their DNA’s….

I wonder how Mr. Bribery is going to handle 3 lightning bolt wielding Lunarians at the same time.

It seems clear that Team Tracy wanted us to wonder which figure in panel 3 elicited Mysta’s “father!” And as noted repeatedly in Comments above, Posie’s pistol pointing is not very paternal. Yet Moon Governor’s perplexed look even as his antennae and Mysta’s both continue to surge with power suggests that things are not quite as he had expected (and I am not referring to the outdoors burger-grilling, nor to Mysta’s Murphy). I do think that Mysta is speaking to Moon Governor, though, rather than Posie, even if her telepathy tells a differing story to MG.

Things will be heating up, and not just on the grill, when Sawtooth shows up. And maybe more of the Smith Industries Security Team. And the MCU. Showdown in the Snow, coming up?
