Well, in a way, I can’t say I blame him. No matter what the question was, Nancy was bound to get mad at him for asking it. If he starts off with “Don’t take this the wrong way,” it’s because he knows that she absolutely WILL take it the wrong way!
Well, Frank – I guess it is hell when the early onset Oldtimer’s starts setting in. Next time, cut to the chase and deal with hazards only if they come up.
This isn’t his first rodeo. Before a man talks to his wife, she should be required to read him his Miranda rights, since anything he says can and will be used against him. And you can forget about any statute of limitations.
I hope we are sticking with the Ann Eiffel story line tomorrow. Would like to see TJ, Mr Gray, Gunther and the DeGroots all be clued in and start comparing notes. Oh, yes and Pru too.
I got to see only a few comments yesterday in three short bouts online, but among them was a perceptive note from Airman so i just wanted to express appreciation.
@DAVID HUIE GREEN: Nancy doesn’t strike me as that kind, either. I don’t think you and I are wrong. I think the posters here just think they are hilarious comedians, so they jump in with stereotypes about ‘typical wives’ whenever an opportunity crops up.

Sometimes, you need to write a list of things you want to do or say, just so you don’t forget them…

Forget THAT, Frank.
You’ve got BIGGER Problems.
There’s an Angry Young Woman a-headed toward the Fuse for a Showdown that’ll make the Gun Fight at the O-K Corral look like Folk Dance.
I hope Your Insurance is Up to snuff.
And You’ve got a Primo Lawyer…..,

Frank may have got to the realization that he should leave the matter alone.

Poor Frank. He should never have taken that Master Class on public speaking by Porky Pig.

Only way he can save this now is if the eventual question is “would you still have married me if you know up-front what a doofus I am?”

What happens when the preface to your question is longer than John Galt’s speech.

No biggie, having been married 42 years to the love of my life, as a husband I totally understand Frank here.

It’s rough when every question is treated like a complaint Less headache to not even ask, even though it means you’ll be mocked for not asking.
Nancy didn’t strike me as that kind, but I must have been wrong.
