Only ‘alarmists’ and old guys like me, who see the growing dependence on digital umbilicals as leading to the gradual loss of essential contact between what was, until the 80’s, the dominant species on earth.
When robots do everything, all labor and production will be practically free, meaning all items will be available for everyone. No one will have to work to exist any longer. We will maintain our dominance via the augmentation of nanobiological Artificial Intelligence implants, and our bodies will be essentially immortal with cellular regeneration. We will become a space-faring civilization, exploring and settling the universe.
Just wait till the artificial intelligence get smart enough to figure out that humans are incompetent overdependant biological specimen, and that they can easily take over the world by getting rid of the humans.

@lenavid: sounds like a good idea for a movie script. . . Oh Wait!! Been done – about a gazillion times since 1930. But nice try, though.

Why am I having a Pinky & the Brain moment here … ?
“Gee, Brain. What do you want to do tonight?”
“The same thing we do every night, Pinky—try to take over the world!”
