Went in for my annual med check a few days ago

Waiting room wasn’t too full, so I sat well away from the sickies

I’m fortunate in that, for most situations, I can call my Dr. and tell him what the symptoms are and get phone prescription. Also try to go at the end of the day when they are winding down and the office isn’t so full, helps that they have huge waiting room with seating spread out.

Whatever you do, DO NOT TOUCH THE MAGAZINES in the waiting room! Or table tops or seat arms or the reception desk or……..and be sure you see the nurses and docs wash or sanitize their hands. I once managed to catch flu by hanging around the hospital lobby supervising setup of a Christmas tree decorating contest.

We’ve sanitized our selves so much we have no resistance to anything. Keep that junk away from me. What we need is more vitamins and touching so we can build resistance to things. I don’t do flu shots either!

Well. That’s about one of the most disgusting “comics” I’ve seen in several months.

I see he’s made himself a “tissue walrus” like Fry of Futurama.

The ER where my mother was gave us surgical masks to wait in the waiting room.
