She’s weak. I’d let him boink the spring all day.

If I had ever pulled a stunt like that, my mother would have slapped my bottom and then found a pile of chores for me to do.

My two-and-a-half year old granddaughter does this. I thought she’d grow out of it someday.

Has there been a strip where has been punished with no television? Or maybe a story arc where Elly decides the family is sitting around like lumps so she declares “No TV for a week”.

NO TV! Throw him out of the house with his inline skates and a wobble ball. (That’s a football, for those of you who weren’t paying attention during the ’70s.)

Lynn’s Notes:To this day, I can’t resist “boinging” the little springy thing that keeps a door from hitting the wall. Writing the sound effects here was so much fun!
