Looks like Ghost is going to join a long list of villains Tracy has inflicted with lead poisoning.

By the way – after this case, Dick Tracy can retire the trophy for being the toughest lawman in comics.

I think it speaks of class that Tracy found the time to clean his face AND install a flipcover on his watch before confronting Ghost over his bad manners!

You know, Ghost, if you really want to sure that Tracy is dead, you can just put the van in reverse and back up over him. No need to get out and check on him.

But Tracy can’t shoot Ghost if he isn’t armed! Does Ghost have Tracy’s other gun?

What I want to know is; What top secret material is Tracy’s coat made of, to not show any damage from dragging like that?

The part about him carrying a spare firearm is spot on. Ghost was careless.

I’m still marveling at Ghost’s logic here. “No one will be suspicious of the dragged dead cop who came to my place to investigate a suspicious death. I’ll just leave him here.”

That hammerless .38 Tracy carries in his ankle holster may only hold five rounds, as many similar revolvers do, though the cylinder is drawn in such a way that it seems to be a six-shooter! Either way, Tracy cannot afford a drawn-out gun fight if Ghost has Tracy’s primary, which like most duty guns probably holds 16 rounds (or more). Tracy is probably not going to be too agile after being dragged, so he needs to shoot straight rather than fast if it comes to that….
