The male/female ratio does seem mind boggling. (And of course Her Majesty can drive without a license; licenses and pother specific documents [like passports] are issued in Her name!)
“Where have all the young men gone? Long time passing. Where have all the young men gone, long time ago? Where have all the young men gone? Gone for soldiers, every one. When will they ever learn? When will they ever learn?” Perhaps those lyrics contain the answer.
Replenish the male population. Maybe it shouldn’t happen that way – it is usually males who start wars. What if there were more females running things? Just a thought!
It could be a socio-sensual awareness that more men will be needed for the next war – which will usually happen about the time the war-time born generation gets to fighting age – 18+ or so … a la 1898-1916, 1918 – 1939, 1945 – 1965, with a minor hiccup thrown in at 1950, though the social catastrophe of the Great Depression, beginning in 1929, might well serve – far too many men out of work.

The genetics favour males during war times for men are made for war? That makes sense. Nature doesn’t indulge in tokenism. ;O) :0P

Over the centuries, the birthrate of males have often been used to predict impending wars.

The birth rate of males is ALWAYS higher than females. The death rate is also higher, so the ratio gets even years later.

Technically, aren’t we now and foreverafter ALWAYS during or after a war?

There are supposed to be dogs who can smell cancer, but it is unusual to find a human with that sensitive a sniffer.

But can she identify people with Parkinson’s who haven’t yet been diagnosed? That would actually be useful.
