Pity the people that thought their prayers do anything. How many of the 17 were prayed for before they were murdered? All prayer does is make YOU feel better.
In the case of congress thoughts and prayers are simply an excuse for not meeting their job requirements of deliberating and collaborating with the full congress to work out a compromise that keeps our children safe and allows responsible access to guns at the same time. The public is growing tired of slackers.
The thoughts and prayers will only start working when we finally decide that we love our children more than we love our guns. And we demand that our representatives and senators do the same.
So far, none of the children gunned down in schools have been the offspring of Congressmen. So keep those NRA dollars rolling in! Don’t upset Trump’s “base.”
“If you love Trump, stay home on election day.” pass it on.
The only reason Trump repealed Obama’s rule about not allowing mentally unstable people from having guns is because of the GOP’s policy of erasing the “Black man in the White House” from history.
Trump is not a racist, but he supports people who are. He’s against domestic violence but support people who do it. He is not a pedophile but supports pedophiles. He’s against gun violence but supports the NRA. However he’s not a hypocrite, he’s just being “open minded” – according to his legions of prostitutes in the White House staff and the minons in his base.
It has been 50 years since the Supreme Court banned school-sponsored prayer. But God and faith are probably present in more ways now than ever in public schools, say law and religion experts and activists.
Every year, Americans are becoming more and more religious and every year mass murders are going up and up. Obviously we’re just not praying and thinking enough yet.
“Thoughts and prayers” are working. They are working exactly as intended, providing a sanctimonious alternative to taking any responsibility whatsoever.
Schools have intruder drills to help kids live in a world where someone can enter a school building with an AR 15. Instead, we should be working on making it harder for the intruders to possess an AR15 and be a menace to everyone else trying to live their lives!
Alex Jones and other idiots as well as Russians are spreading the story that the school shooting in Parkland Florida was a false flag operation. Meanwhile the students that were there are not fooled, and they are enraged at the Republicans and the NRA. A clip of the speech given by Emma Gonzalez a student at Parkland School:
I wrote my congressman and both senators": all Republicans
“Keep those NRA dollars flowing. Don’t upset Trump’s base. A dozen or so dead children every year is just part of doing business and a small price to pay. It’s all part of Making America Great Again. Don’t worry about it until a child you care about is gunned down in cold blood.”

thoughts of punching women in the eye and prayers to a pedophile? Wonder why we keep allowing children to get shot and killed.

There is no reason to fear the ultra liberal NRA GOP gun laws that are killing our children?
Outlaw the AR-15, the preferred weapon of school mass murderers in America.

I don’t give a damn about anyone’s right to own an AR 15. The rest of us have rights too!

For Trump and other pseudo-republicans, it’s more l like, “thinking about prayers, if I can remember how.”
