Leave your friends with good memories of you. Angry, sullen, and resentful may be fully justified, but they aren’t going to solve a damn thing, and they’ll just make the people around you anxious and miserable as well. Andy’s got it right.

The older I get, the more I realize, that hate is a wasted expenditure of energy. It accomplishes nothing, expect to make the hater more miserable.

I neither have the time, nor inclination, to hate anything or anyone. That doesn’t mean I don’t strongly dislike things. I do….but I don’t hate.

I can intensely dislike what is currently happening to the U.S. and abhor the violence and meanness that masquerades as American politics, but I can’t waste my time hating psychotics like Trump or Bannon.

I’d much rather spend whatever time I’ve got left on this earth, reveling in the laughter of my grandchildren, than frothing at the mouth over some inanity uttered by a megalomaniac !
