I am sitting her in the midst of a nor’easter. Yes the streams are swollen, however, nothin’ is rollin’. Rain and wind and weather..great excuse to stay home… ;-) Oh, btw, the phrase ‘hell bound to leather’ is a reference to a cowboy stuck to his saddle in a blizzard..until/unless you have had an old worn leather saddle get wet, turn to ice beneath you and your wool pants literally stick to it, you do not know what bound to leather means.

I thought it was “move ’em OUT”.

Now I have to put on the Dead Kennedys’ version. The comics exert a powerful pressure.

I hate leafblowers.

Grounds Staff use Leaf Blowers @ this time of the year just justify their work time! Unnecessary noise!

Well Janis I guess it’s time to “save a horse” :)

All leaf blowers should be banned! Bring back the rake!

Frankie Laine
“Rollin’ rollin’ rollin’
Rollin’ rollin’ rollin’
Rollin’ rollin’ rollin’
Rollin’ rollin’ rollin’
Rawhide
Keep rollin’, rollin’, rollin’
Though the streams are swollen
Keep them dogies rollin’, rawhide
Through rain and wind and weather
Hell bent for leather
Wishin’ my gal was by my side
All the things I’m missin’
Good vittles, love and kissin’
Are waiting at the end of my ride
Move ’em on, head ’em up
Head ’em up, move ’em on
Move ’em on, head ’em up, rawhide
Cut ’em out, ride ’em in
Ride ’em in, cut ’em out
Cut ’em out, ride ’em in, rawhide
Keep movin’, movin’, movin’
Though they’re disapprovin’
Keep them dogies movin’, rawhide
Don’t try to understand ’em
Just rope ’em, throw, and brand ’em
Soon we’ll be livin’ high and wide
My heart’s calculatin’
My true love will be waitin’
Be waitin’ at the end of my ride
Move ’em on, head ’em up
Head ’em up, move ’em on
Move ’em on, head ’em up, rawhide
Cut ’em out, ride ’em in
Ride ’em in, cut ’em out
Cut ’em out, ride ’em in, rawhide
Rollin’ rollin’ rollin’
Rollin’ rollin’ rollin’
Rollin’ rollin’ rollin’
Rollin’ rollin’ rollin’
Rawhide

Did Arlo crack his power cord as a whip? Bad idea. The force at the end of that cord could be enough to damage it
edge2edge over 6 years ago
I have never known one of those orange power cords to coil so neatly as Arlo’s is.

It’s a good thing she didn’t throw a beer bottle at him, like in The Blues Brothers movie.

That’s strange. Arlo doesn’t look like Clint Eastwood.

Are the leaves rustling? No, it is cowboy Arlo rustling leaves.

I sing loudly while mowing and blowing as well. Meatloaf Bat Out of Hell, on my earbuds keeps me singing in tune.
