1. Why not let Elizabeth go to the party instead of making her try to sleep through the noise? Since she is dressed in purple, she will fit right in with all the other girls.
2. I seem to remember this exact same thing happening last year for Michael’s 12th birthday and at that time Elizabeth was promised her own birthday party or sleepover. I don’t think the Patterson parents ever kept that promise.
3. John thinks, “… and I’ve been wishing lately that you weren’t so big!!” Let me tell you John, it just gets worse. I remember the day I pulled my back trying to pick up my son after he got too big to carry.
Since Elizabeth is so cutesy-pootsy, it is surprising that when she broke the milk and told her mother the whopper about being robbed that Elly wanted more information. Figured Elly would have reacted akin to “You were robbed? Oh no, my poor baby!”
Folks, please note we have a trolling imposter who has stolen S’Dog’s name and avatar. You can distinguish the real Dog from the fake: the fake is the GC Insider.
Yesterday, you could also distinguish them because the fake’s name on his profile was in all-caps. Today, he’s changed it to be exactly the same.

John could deal with the music, as well as Lawrence dancing with Martha. All John has to do is tell Lawrence “Turn off that damn jungle music. Party’s over, boy.”

One day your parents set you down, and they never picked you back up again.
Today’s strip is nothing but sweet.

This was a nice break from the storyline to something sweet; a nice pleasant surprise!

Question – do we know how old Elizabeth at this point? I can’t remember.

As a child, the process of growing up takes forever
As an adult, the children grow up way too quickly

Aww how sweet. But to be fair, when she does get older she’s still very sweet and considerate as she is now. Though not as innocent but still
