Today’s Tracy strongly resembles one of the characters in Zippy! (The one that looks a bit like Lincoln, but I forgot his name)

That shovel chin is an implant, metallic and bullet proof.

If we can believe what they say a gun went off. But who had the gun?

Ok, if Lovecraft is telling the truth and Candidate and Ning back up her story about a gunshot going off as she was returning downstairs, it’s suicide and end of story. That seems pretty pat, and there wouldn’t be any “mystery” involved. On the other hand, if Reed was murdered, and they all hold to the suicide story, then they are all involved, or some one hiding behind the curtain (or under the bed) shot Ultraman after Lovecraft left the room. Or she shot him herself and she is the only one lying. Not a heck of a lot of time to resolve this, and Tracy hasn’t even examined the body yet…

You know, it occurs to me that this is written on the assumption that the readers have prior knowledge about George Reeves’ death in real life. Most people reading this probably do. But go back and read everything so far with the idea that you have never heard about Reeves or “Hollywood Kryptonite”. I just did, and it feels like there are lots of gaps that Mike is asking the readers to fill in on their own.

I’m finding Sam & Tracy’s appearances kind of distracting but I’m loving the looks of the other characters.

Tracy is implying that Lenore did it – after all, he’s saying she’s the last one to see him alive LOL

Seems my GoComics [Bookmark] takes me now to an awful mess. No overhead banner to go to the next comic, & Magnification set so high only part of middle panel visible.

Thank goodness for the new gocomics layout. People are complaining about something other than evil leprechauns and shovel chins.

At this point (and there is only one more day for investigation left!), it looks to me like either it actually was a suicide or there is a conspiracy among the guests to cover up a murder in which they were all complicit….

I haven’t had any trouble (yet), but I don’t have an account with GoComics and I sign in with my Google+ account. Otherwise, my name would be Da_Glob, which is my lil’ pink avatar.

In New York, it’s an offense to assist someone committing suicide. She could be guilty of that!

If it holds like the last Minit Mystery, we got until Sunday to figure this out. Hopefully, the necessary clue will be revealed tomorrow. The one thing I want to know is… is Reeds left-handed? I want to say so, because Ultraman was punching out the bad guy on the television screen (yesterday’s strip) with his left hand.

I’m beginning to think Reeds faked his death with the help of his wife & friends. It’s curious we haven’t seen the body yet.

Is it just me, or does he look more like Fearless Fosdick from Lil Abner, than Dick Tracy?
