I am still boycotting opening day until the leagues return to the tradition of having the Cincinnati game be the opener before anyone else plays. Baseball’s a traditional sport? Hah. Not anymore, except for cheating. That hasn’t gone away.
I’d rather watch a baseball game on TV than watch anything else. I’m reasonably certain no one will be tortured, raped or murdered in the name of “entertainment.”
The teams in the south will have an opening day in all likelihood but the teams up north will be lucky if the snow is melted off the in-field tarp. Opening day in March indeed! Pfffft!
Hmmm…seems to me Arlo sleeps through quite a number of things lately; regardless of potential interest….pipes the pipes are blowing for ole Mr. Johnson…..
NY Yankees – snowed out opening day (4/2). Will play tomorrow instead – of course there is a suppose to be a major rain storm when the game is suppose to be – so it may be canceled again.

Pro Baseball, in person, is a nice outing, especially for Kids. Baseball on TV is for Shut-ins!

Not the Reds, though, they got rained out

Good thing they sped up the game or he wouldn’t even have the popcorn.

From most of the comments here, I’m guessing few listen to baseball on the radio. I still love it.

It’s nice to go to a game or two. Watch out for the Brewers this year……

Someone needs to start a pool on how many first-day weather postponements occur.

Rained out in Motown, too… Until the climate changes even more, March is still too early. I echo the above comment: Pfffft!

My sentiments exactly. The games are too long and way too boring. But I suppose people need something to watch in between football seasons.

That’s how my Dad watched ball games. Except he was slowly going deaf, and over time they got louder and louder!

Not all the teams are playing today, the Tigers postponed their game because of all the rain here.

2 games rained out. A foreshadowing for the Tigers season.
