A little administrivia right now. We all know that Gweedo speaks by proxy through Neil Wick. But lately, I’ve been seeing Nun ’Ya Bidness also speaking by proxy. What’s going on? Another one bite the dust?
One thing interesting about this Green Hornet logo that I lifted from Mike and Joe is that it follows fairly closely the television show logo, right down to the two red beady eyes.
Hornet was my favorite television show in its day, up there with Addams Family. Can’t wait to see them unleash the Black Beauty! Green headlights and all!
Arrogant Tracy, he cant even catch the majority of his opponents, they usually die before he can bring them to justice… and judging by how long it took him to corral Bribery… he may not wanna go tooting that horn just yet
A burning question, though, is whether the Hat and Yellow Rain Coat will have been replaced the next time we see him in them – he looks pretty neat and tidy today.
Tracy’s acting all cocky and fat headed because it’s the first time in over a week he’s been at the office and felt like himself! The effects of the evidence room Brownies he ate finally wore off! BaaHaa!!!
I wonder will Tracy and Sam get into a fight with the Green Hornet and Kato and the real criminals just like Batman and Robin did in that classic episode?
It occurs to me that The Hornet’s usual M.O. won’t work. He’s not infiltrating a gang to break it up, he is in Tracyville to stop Topper from making an alliance to confront him. Now, it would be funny if Topper walks into see the big boss of The Operation (or whatever) and… it’s The Green Hornet.
I thought the Green Hornet was a Superhero in the same vein as Batman i.e. a wealthy but otherwise ordinary guy who uses his wealth to buy and build equipment for vigilante crime fighting. Last I knew that was only unorthodox but not criminal.
‘Central City’ ? Wait, isn’t that the home city of the Flash and-or the Spirit?! The Green Hornet being in the same city as those guys doesn’t make sense.

Thank goodness all the rollercoaster emotions leading up to Bill’s tribute are behind us. Now we can focus on today’s boring strip! LOL!
By the way, was I relieved to find out that Gweedo is only banished and not departed! LOL2!

Tracy seems to be feeling his oats a bit this morning.

Nice to see Tracy’s injuries from his Ghost Pepper adventure have all healed

Not that I know much about the subject, but wasn’t the GH a crime fighter? Why are they referring to him as a “criminal”?

Huh! I’d have thought that Tracy would have been in on Britt Reid’s secret about Green Hornet.

I have to wonder which version of The Green Hornet we will see here in Dick Tracy. Will it be the version from the serials, or the TV show version.

I wonder why people think the Green Hornet’s a criminal?

Oh, Tracy, you are a card! What’s with all the humorous remarks lately, detective?
Anyway, you’ll probably end up realizing that the Green Hornet makes a better friend than opponent.
Let the case proceed….
